Daniel Richards

Physiotherapist

MscPhysio

Clinic: Clyde

Originally from the United Kingdom, Danny completed a degree in sports science and physiology at The University of Leeds in 2004, before completing his physiotherapy degree (MSc) at Leeds Metropolitan University in 2007.  After working for several years in the UK public hospital system, he made the move “down under” to Australia in 2012.

Since then Danny has worked in a variety of clinical settings across private practice, pain management, and occupational rehabilitation since this time.  He has a particular interest in the management of persistent and complex pain.

Danny believes great health outcomes are achieved when people are actively involved in their own care.  In that regard he is passionate about supporting people to feel equipped with the knowledge and skills to manage their physical health effectively.

Outside of clinical practice, Danny enjoys a variety of sports and fitness activities, although with a young family this is increasingly via the role of spectator, or coach of an under 9s soccer team.
